Penn State Webinar with Vinduino

Join us on May 12 for Vinduino Irrigation Automation and its Use in Grape, Vegetable, and Fruit Production, the second in a three part webinar series “Irrigation Technology for Commercial Fruit, Vegetable, and Container Fruit Production.” This seminar features Reinier van der Lee, the founder of Vinduino, a California-based company specializing in precision irrigation for agriculture. The principles and technology presented will be applicable to growers of other fruit and vegetable crops.

Penn State Extension presents a series of webinars covering the fundamentals of drip irrigation systems and discussing how automated irrigation technology can promote optimal crop growth while reducing overall water consumption compared to manually operated systems or other forms of irrigation. These workshops will discuss irrigation sensor technology and will provide practical information on its use in orchards, vineyards, vegetable farms, nurseries, and greenhouses.
